Gulfsouth Summer Youth Action Camp

Operation REACH's Gulfsouth Summer Youth Action Camp (GSYAC) is a specialty service learning camp designed to engage 300 youth in meaningful service learning activities in Atlanta, Birmingham, and New Orleans. GSYAC is a non-traditional six-week, intensive, holistic cutting-edge youth leadership and service learning program. Campers were engaged in a variety of service-learning activities that address real community needs in the area of disaster preparedness and the environment.
