American Idol Tour 2009 - Danny Gokey "My Wish", Sacramento, Calif, July 10, 2009

Danny Gokey gave a poignant and sentimental speech about how he lost his wife before the auditions, yet that didn't deter his dream of making people happy with his music...he also encouraged people to not give up on their dreams cuz anything's possible if you believe in it....sorry i didn't record the speech, but here, he sings the Rascal Flatts hit, "My Wish", in Sacramento, California, at the Arco Arena on July 10, 2009, in front of a sold-out crowd.

I LOVE DANNY GOKEY'S VERSiON OF 'MY WiSH!' he should really make a studio recording for it. its so magical and powerful when he sings it - i even think its better than the original! omg danny is so inspirational. first idol contestant i've ever seen that purely comes from his heart.

i was at this show. he was amazing. everyone was. he speech was so powerful. one of the best times of my life. keep singing Danny. he was my favorite on the show. so sad when he left. such a powerful voice.
