I've heard hundreds of comedians use the same jokes in different variations many times. Thing is, it's a funny subject no matter how you present it. I'd like to know who owns every joke ever told, cuz I have committed copyright infringement many times by using them in conversation to lighten up a mood or situation. A joke, any joke, is bound to sound like someone else's joke after a while, hell, how many comedians are there now? Keep on keepin' on Mrs. Hughes, you crack me up!

@fivestring65 I respect your opinion but completely disagree with you. I just think that you shouldn't have to resort to someone else's joke as your FIRST joke. It would be like a band coming out playing Eruption and trying to play it off as their song, is that right? I mean the microphone line is straight out of a jokebook and it's stuff like using a jokebook joke that lowers the standard of what's acceptable on stage but hey to each his own.
