This song was written about 500 years ago by Rabbi Shlomo Elkabetz who lived in Tzefat, Israel. Religous Jews sing that song every Fridy evening during the "Shabbath" (Saturday) prayer.
I think this man has the BEST voice in the world at this time ... I saw him live at WOMADelaide and was totally moved by his voice - it is angelic and deeply spiritual :)

I like the "scruffy" non shaved look on David LOL. Also the wind blowing was a nice touch. It really set the outdoor mood
