What was it like for a talkative and artsy girl from the Bayou to discern and follow a call to religious life? Other women who feel drawn to consecration might find something here to help them in discerning a similar call.

Daughters of St. Paul: consecrated women with a Eucharistic spirituality, serving the Church with evangelization through all available means of communication.

  • Thank you so so much for posting this video. It is very nice to hear about the discernment process of a sister who was about my age when she started thinking about becoming a sister. I am in my sophomore year of college and I have been thinking about becoming one. I've been excited but also scared of the idea, and I'm so glad Sr. Tracy reminded me to pray about this to God. Duh! Pray! Thank you!

  • You won't regret doing a discernment about how you can best find union with God and a path of service. Do it now, so you won't find yourself, decades later, still wondering if you "shouldda been a nun." (I've heard women in their sixties say that.) Discernment is just that: discerning!

  • Sorry! She sang copyrighted material, so it can't be included...

The fact that you keep replying to me, on a Sunday no less, shows where your mind really is at. Stop messaging me and put your efforts into your prayer life.

I'd take your evangelisation more seriously if you didn't spend so much time ONLINE. Here's a tip about attempting to take the moral high ground: you need to practice what you preach, in deeds besides words. So get offline. "Give up everything you have and come follow me" was not open to deliberation.

    Hypocrite.
