What is a wireless sensor network? What are its main applications? What are the challenges that face it? What about the WSN lab in Nile University?
All these questions and more were answered in the session given by Dr Mostafa Youssef. Dr Mostafa Youssef gave a technical introduction to Wireless Sensor Networks. The session started off with a definition of WSN and a brief talk about its applications, followed by an in-depth explanation of WSN devices. Dr Mostafa also showed the differences between Adhoc Networks & wireless sensor networks and discussed the challenges that face WSN devices. He also informed the attendees about the WSN Lab and the projects there.
Dr Mostafa ended with a Q&A session, which was a great opportunity for the attendees to interact.
