Haha! Because he knows me, and knows that he can handle me, but the hippo is(was) new and mysterious, and therefore to be feared. He doesn't know what to expect from the hippo (and you never can with the hippoptomi) but him and I hav ea relationship and we know eachothers boundries. ;)
