This is my opinion, maybe Chief switched armor with Six because Six's name was never shown, Cortana picked him so he stuck with her, and Chief blows up Halo. Chief is probably Six. They probably just switched armor and changed their names. Six lives on!!

@Frwager1998 hahaha no they doesn't. Jun and Dr. Halsey went elsewhere. By the way, she is not his mother. He says "ma'am" with a heavy accent. She is like a mother figure considering he was kidnapped and raised by her like the other s-ii's...but not his biological mother. She is like a mother figure to john 117 as well.
