  • Hi, thanks so much for your terrific feedback! I'm so glad you liked my video.

  • do we add parsely at all?? if so how much? fresh or dried?

  • Hi, I usually don't with this kind of a tomato sauce, but if you are making a garden vegetable sauce by adding fresh red peppers, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc. then you can add some parsley. I would recommend about 2-3 tablespoons, but you can add more if you love the taste.

  • WOW!!!! Great recipe-I have never made my own sauce and I did a lot of you tube searching for help on how to do it-your video was awesome and so easy :) thank you. AND I love adding the red wine, I would have never thought to do that. Well I no longer have to wonder what to do with all these tomatoes my garden has blessed me with. You explained everything beautifully, no guessing-I subscribed and will watch all your videos. THANKS AGAIN!!!!

  • so much home do you ever make homemade tomato paste?

  • @SterlingBorden Hi, just found your comment, not sure why it was marked as spam. Anyway, you can use things like parmesan or romano cheese or perhaps add more spicy ingredients red and green peppers, onions, or even hot pepper to give more taste. Salt is not necessary to preserve it. It just helps bring out the tomatoey taste. I use very little myself in cooking compared to what's in jarred sauces and other homemade sauces I've tasted. I would rather add a little parm cheese to my own plate.

  • excellent video! taught me a lot about tomato sauce! big thanks that was amazing!

  • w0w thats very goooood ure helping people thats nice...^^

  • Why add white sugar to a healthy food?? She ruined it. I used the carrots, and just a pinch of cinnamon, and it was the best sauce! I I often add grated zuchinni & grated carrots to my sauce because no-one notices, and it just adds extra nutrition, especially for a vegetarian diet. I do not add the cheese, as I freeze this in zip-lock baggies.

  • Excellent video!
