The song "Frank, Dennis and Me" is by the late Jim Hinde. Jim was a Vietnam Veteran who passed in 2008. Jim was a singer/songwriter guitar playing activist and family man who built a solid body of musical work over the course of 20 years. This song is unabashedly autobiographical and the language, phrasing and simplicity of the truth is very much in keeping with the way Jim Hinde lived and communicated. Thanks Jim for the music.

Jim Page and the Ghost Bikes ensemble including: Grant Dermody on harmonica and Michael Gray on violin and---although you can't see him here---Joel Litwin on shoe box and brushes. This song is by Jim Page's friend Jim Hinde---who passed in 2008. Jim Hinde was a Vietnam vet and member of Vietnam Veterans of America. The Seattle chapter is named the Jim Hinde memorial chapter. Jim Hinde had 6 records which can be found at CDBaby.com

  • Thanks much for kudos on behalf of all of us. I forwarded your comment to Janet Hinde-wife of the late Jim Hinde who continues her work with PTSD vets---Grant Dermody-harmonica and Michael Gray--fiddle (part of Pearl Django incidently). There are other videos of live Jim HInde performances and his work can be found on CD Baby for purchase. Unfortunately, for all of us Jim has passed on. We are so happy he left behind songs to live and learn by. Thanks you from kk
