But you're right: Everybody's different, and it's totally subjective, and all the elitist talk online really belittles a lot of good, smart people for liking movies which don't match the tastes of the self-professed elite film buffs.

3:37 Good luck with that one lol. I miss those days when you and Mr. Black both reviewed the same movies. Getting advice from the two most credible movie critics on the internet was the most imformative way for me to know which movies to see, and of course which not to see.

Those were the good 'ol days of youtube...

I would rather you just randomly complain about things. There's a trend of people just getting bigger tv's and watching things at home instead. Shame for people wanting to go on the first date if all the cinemas shut down.

I would think lowering some people's expectations of a film would only enhance there enjoyment of it (granted - it might sway them from viewing it all together.) It's when you tell someone that movie so and so was the best thing ever that you truly set someone up for disappointment (imo the most obvious example of this imo was Slumdog Millionaire.)
