@jacob6102 yes man but also man that wing-flex is to help the gliding when landing man , glad this helped man and also man you are right man helps with the fuel efficiency man thanks for the vid man bye man.
I really got to go man i can't keep chatting man bye now man

@jacob6102 It reduces turbelence and turbelence causes less fuel efficiency so yes you are right.

@blueinkbottle they can flex MUCH more, and there is no chance in the world they will break in flight

@jacob6102 actually, there could be two other reasons for the wing flex. The first reason could be the fact their made out of composites which may not be as stiff as good old aluminum. They could also be that flexible on purpose. The wings act as springs in a suspension while in the air, so the more flexible they are, the smoother the fly could be. Anyhow, I'm no expert, and this was a very good video catch. Wish i could have been there too.
Scary... the way those wings are pointing up... quite a high degree of flex... would not want one snapping off in flight... the bird looks sexy though...

yeah it is a very good looking plane...but the winks are meant to be bent up that far...i think it has to do with fuel efficiency
