i over powered one of these on my suzuki 1400 factory intruder. rated with much lower numbers. harley guy was pissed! what the hell was harley thinking? why the f---- didn't they put a detuned v-rod motor in it? or do they like us buying jap? i told one guy on youtube to look at a buell if this is what he is looking for. if harley aim for the sport bike market they missed because they were being cheap. it seems orange paint makes things slower.
I've been riding since "75" and not once has my knee been hit by rocks. So I wouldn't worry about the oil cooler being damaged by flying rocks, unless you plan on using it for motocross. After watching the video, does anyone still think these are "girls" bikes?
Consider yourself lucky. I"ve been riding only 8 years and I get hit by a rock almost yearly. Knees, shins, only.. .nothing higher thankfully. I've had bees, grasshoppers hit my face at 60mph... part of the fun.
