My cover of the beautiful song "Where do my bluebird fly" by The Tallest Man on Earth.

Lyrics:
Oh, well I knew you stroke the set-up baby, of all the leaves up in the ground
And I know your song is all but healthy as I see dry leaves fallin' down.
With all this fever in my mind, I could drown in your kerosene eyes
You're just a riddle in the sky,
Oh, where do my bluebird fly?

And as the early sign of dawn of thunder I see you stir the fog around
And when you find the voice and gears of sunset we'll hear that high and lonesome sound.
And I will question every wind if they gone through the glow of your eyes
You're just a riddle in the sky
Oh, where do my bluebird fly?

Oh, well I know you stroke your feathers baby upon the ghosts along my trail
And I know our life was sold and buried before I knew it was for sale.
With all this fever in my mind I could aim for your kerosene eyes.
You're just a target in the sky
I say where do my bluebird fly?

  • This is great. How long have you been playing?

  • @lordthj Thank you! I'm playing for many years already, but I've improved my skills a lot during the past 12 months or so. But seriously everyone who's patient enough can learn this, no matter the skills! Give it a try! :)

  • great cover. just wondering what kind of capo do u use?

  • @verdmetsfan Thanks! :) It's a regular Jim Dunlop. Pretty good.

  • Great cover! Is this song in DADFAD?

  • @jweard Thanks! No, it's DGDGA#D

  • Been trying to play this beautiful song.... this is a fabulous cover and your picking and chord work are so clear, an old geezer like me can learn from it....and I've been playing over 40 years!

If you are playing stuff like this after just 10 months...........wow..........

  • i like that you play directly the song, that its not pre-recorded

    beautiful

  • beutifully done

  • @annismusic exactly, I learned this in 3-4 days and I have been playing for 10 months. all of his songs sound more complicated because we've never heard anything similar. his tunings are rare too. i've learned into the stream as well, that was easier than this one though :) just practice :) great cover though anni! i've seen all of your songs and love your feeling. please record a cover of "A Lions's Heart" ;-) have a great day!

  • this is the best cover of this ive heard on youtube! i love it so much!
