@knorieworiebobsnor Yes it can be confusing to see good players play Savage 1 if you were never really into the game. The combat style in Savage 1 changed massively during the last 7 years and is still evolving. Savage 1 was evolving so much and had so much more potential than intended that S2Games CEO was shocked and called the learning curve frustrating. But luckily there is Savage 2, the mainstream version of Savage, which stayed how S2Games designed it - boring and without hidden potential.

@Bajernus lagspikes are normally a server/client connectivity issue independent from the netcode quality. Facts are: Savage 1 can deal with 128 players, Savage 2 lags already with 40. Comparing Savage 1 and Savage 2 servers using the same provider, you will always get a much better ping in Savage 1.

I'm a mediocre fps player at best.

Being a decent HON player, i tried to play abit of Savage 2.

Was quite funny : 1-10, 2-8 and so on...

The average level in Savage is incredibly high...

Was hardcore raped.

so as video says savage2 is for casual gamers,im not casual gamer,and i hate in s2 those all interfaces,toolbars,i actually cant stand current gen gaming,savage1 is previous gen gaming,which more appeals to me.
