Sega exhibited the "Phantasy Star Zero" video game at the 2008 Tokyo Game Show.

Phantasy Star Zero is the latest production in the popular "Phantasy Star" role-playing game series that features adventures with various weapons in the SF world. The new game is based on "Phantasy Star Online", which has become hugely popular with four different types of game systems such as the Dreamcast.

The game features a one-player story mode and is also equipped with a wireless communication function so that up to 4 people can play. The company is also developing a multi-mode function that lets gamers play with other players nationwide using a Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.

The new game is scheduled for release on December 25, 2008.
