I do feel in my heart that the man is reaching his goal to water down hiphop. Water down hiphop means words with no positive messages, which means less $ for the minorities. The higher ups in the music industry only look @$ & not talent. Basicly the artist are students that have gone through school w.o. being trained with the proper skills. Hiphop is in big trbl & many minorities will be w.o. jobs very soon. Sports will be the next target that the gov. will place under the spotlight. Spts/Musk=$

Listen to this story. It still relates to this very day!!! What's sad is that these same problems still exist, and I'm sure will continue to do so way after I'm done and gone. Back then, we could hear the message, and not have to say, "what the hell does that mean?" or "What did he say? It's so fast." Give me the old school anyday. Long live the the City, that's New York City. A lot safer now then back in the 70's and 80's. Thank God...Combat Marine who survived the Bronx & Desert Storm & Iraq.

back to the old school

I was too young to know about these groups back then. I was probably just a baby when this was made but I enjoy this so much better than what's out there today.
