"12-12-12" The Concert for Sandy Relief featured performances from the likes of Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney. Organized by The Madison Square Garden Company, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and The Weinstein Company, the benefit raised funds for the Robin Hood Relief Effort, which helps those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

I'm kind of disappointed to see Michael Stipe reluctant to perform. I understand him leaving music and his reluctance to return to it as well as his bit about stage fright, but what's disappointing is the fact that the cause alone wasn't enough to convince him.
