Kinjo Yeung and his brother Poo Ping come to Kitt Lee's village from America to take over his town with their teachings. Kitt Lee fights them off and saves the town.
After Kinjo kills his sister Kitt kills Kinjo's brother Poo Ping and Kinjo vows revenge and tries to take Kitt's life but fails and fakes his death after Kitt savagely beats him for trying.
Kitt Lee retreats to a Temple to teach him self-control and discipline.

"Tests of Will" was Kitt Lee's first movie made in China and Poo Ping's first and last movie, it was the one that started the Kitt Lee saga and franchise.
