  • beautiful song- great performance of it - wonderful to listen to.

  • Wow Beautiful performance. My school's Mens choir sang this song TTBB but we had intonation & Tuning issues, so I never really heard how beautiful this song really is. Great job, I really like the tempo change at 3:00, and the soloist has a nice voice as well. Great job again!

  • @billythehick Dawsn certainly did define the "sound" of a lot of spirituals! I've enjoyed every arrangement of his i've encountered.

  • Beautiful wonderful song and wonderful choir, thanks for sharring.

  • Thank you...

  • When my choir did this, we had a guy with a guy with a good gravelly voice singing clear lead. Now all other arrangements sound wrong to me. Quite frustrating.

  • Thanks for posting. Beautiful performance, a true balm.

Yesterday I finished reading Gilead (2004), by Marilynne Robinson, and it put me in the mood to hear this wonderful old spiritual.

  • Super Interpretetation.

Das beste was ich bisher von einem gemischten Chor gehört habe.
