the most unrated band to comes from the shores of ireland.

The Adventures, Latin Quarter, The Chameleons, all much underated and undervalued bands from the 80s/90s. All made massive contributions in their own way, without getting the recoginition they deserved.

I've always thought that The Adventures were one of the most underrated bands of their era, and listening to Broken Land the other day made me think how poignant it sounded in relation to the tragedy that's still unfolding in Japan. I put together a simple photo montage - see the video responses for this video.
On checking the Adventures Wikipedia page I also sadly discovered that their bass player, Tony Ayre, died in December 2009. R.I.P. Tony.

@CrimsonCom Amen CC, you're spot on the money. Much of todays popular 'music' owes it's existence to the hard work of real musicians in the late '80's early '90's. I personally cannot stand these nobodies who call themselves DJJAZZYGETONEUPYA feat SOMEOTHERTALENTLESSWANKER who take a masterpiece of musical achievement and then talk crap all the way through it and then take credit for it. Rearranging someone elses harmony line is not musical talent, it's plagiarism!!
