This musical performance of "Songs that Won the War: The Golden Age of American Popular Music" by Saul H. Jacobs and Bob Lipson was Part 3 of a program titled "The Renaissance of USC's Campuses," sponsored by the USC Emeriti Center on August 5, 2011.

Professional pianist and accompanist Bob Lipson is a master pianist of the American Songbook. His colleague Saul H. Jacobs is a lecturer, performer and professional writer of documentary and informational media. Both Lipson and Jacobs have had a lifelong interest in musical theatre and have developed a series of informative and entertaining programs called "The Golden Age of American Popular Music" that they have been presenting throughout Southern California for the past three years.
