David Spinozza & Elliott Randall (aka Spin & Elz) on the couch - Part 1

So my old friend David Spinozza was visiting London, playing with the incredible L'Image (Mike Mainieri, Warren Berhardt, Steve Gadd, Tony Levin and David) at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. This is the first time Spin & I have played together for far too many years (we started out in the nightclubs of NYC back in the early 60s). The moment we picked up the guitars, it felt like it was only yesterday!

David penned this beautiful understated piece called "Hidden Drive".

I wondered whether recording this in high fidelity audio would have any impact at 720p .... the highest YT offers..... and the answer is no, not yet at least. It used to do, but most of the result has to with the recording method used and how YT transcodes it.

Have not seen either of these guys since the early 90's though I hear their guitars on all my old records: James Taylor, Steely Dan, etc. Thanks for the gift.
