@boyflavoured Of course! Knowing it would help others not have to live what I have lived through. I have Asthma. An Asthma Attack is like Emphysema, but Emphysema is a lot less treatable and worse, as you know. I'd sound a lot like that during an Asthma Attack, though. I had to be rushed to the Hospital. This doesn't bother me, though, knowing it's helping others, because I'm not selfish. I realize, it's not exactly the same as your grandmother, but still.

my grandmother has survived lung cancer. every time these commercials come on, it's very jarring for her to have to listen to it after she has already lived through it. we all have to rush to turn the sound off.

surely there is an equally effective way to show how terrible smoking is while not dragging up bad memories for survivors?

I agree it should be illegal for the government to attack a legal product like this, make it illegal or leave it alone.

Personally i just get sick of hearing the hacking every other commercial break because a few idiots did not get the message somehow while attending school. SMOKING KILLS YOU.
