Holy crap who gives a flying fuck if he has creative rights to it. The guy's not selling this song or getting any personal benefits from it.
People like you are the reason why the music industry is failing. Absolute stubbornness and inability to adapt to the changing tastes and distribution models that the majority consumer base has established, accepted, and WANTS.
Sticking to the past and failing to adapt appropriately is the only reason the music industry and retailers are dying.
