News anchor LEGALLY DRUNK when he killed Casey- BAC of .13!

Wednesday, May 2, 2007, the official blood alcohol concentration (BAC) results for news anchor Tolly Carr were released to the public.

Carr's result was .13 FOUR hours after the accident. The legal limit is .08 Tolly Carr had refused a breathalyzer test at the scene and warrants had to be issued to retrieve samples of Carr's blood.

Prosecutors will have experts extrapolate this result to determine the estimated alcohol content at the time Casey Bokhoven was killed. It is expected to be higher than the official result.

Tolly Carr was in court today, dressed in jail attire of an orange jumpsuit. His wrists were cuffed and his ankles shackled.

His supporters were there. The family of victim Casey Bokhoven was apparently not notified that Carr would actually attend the morning hearing in person.

Casey Bokhoven, age 26, was violently struck and killed by a pickup truck as he stood on a sidewalk waiting for his girlfriend. The truck, driven by WXII (Winston-Salem, NC) morning anchor Tolly Carr,vaulted over a small wall and hit Casey at 30 mph, dragging him 22 feet, hitting a building and coming to rest with Casey under the wheel. The incident occurred Sunday, March 11, 2007 around 3:40 AM. Charged with DWI, Carr admitted he had been drinking and warrants detail that he refused a Breathalizer test. Blood was taken from Carr, and the results of blood-alcohol tests have not yet been released to the public as of this date (April 20, 2007).

Carr was sentenced to 25- 39 months in a medium security prison in Raleigh, NC for Casey's death. This was actually on the higher end of middle range of sentencing guidelines. Tolly had no priors so the sentencing was limited. He also received 100 hours community service and his driver's license was permanently revoked. his mom is embarrasing for me even, geezus, i mean u can always tell those ppl who r not crazy by bilogical standards but they r loco! like this lady, u can see it when she smiles, or maybe she's hiding it, her son just killed someone's baby while drunk and acting a fool, if she had any class she must be quite ashamed of him. I mean it is a reflection on her, to some degree.

A BAC of 0.13 four hours AFTER the incident? This guy was tanked! His defense lawyer is an ass to even try saying that there could be anything but guilt here - there's no way Carr could be below 0.08 when the accident occurred and then shoot up to 0.13 four hours later.

Getting behind the wheel drunk is equal to putting a bullet in a revolver and spinning away then randomly pointing it into a crowd and pulling the trigger. The law needs to be changed to reflect this so these murderers can be properly brought to justice and never endanger the public again. Life in prison would be too merciful for his ilk.

He wasn't sorry enough to admit he was drunk. Instead he refused to take a breathalizer while his truck sat on top of a kid he just ran over and killed. He's sorry he got caught.. he's a piece of shit.

i think that a very minor punishment for killing a person, even if its an accident...he was drunk, and i watched a few more related videos about this...and it dosnt make me feel like he is feeling really that bad......
