Sergei Rachmaninoff's melodic 2nd Piano Concerto was one of several classical works that inspired pop song adaptations during the 1940s. Of note were the instrumental version by Freddy Martin and vocal releases from Frank Sinatra and Snooky Lanson (still billed as "Roy") here with the Ray Noble Band.
Transferred from the original 78rpm: Columbia 36893 - Full Moon And Empty Arms (Rachmaninoff-Kaye-Mossman) by Ray Noble and his Orchestra, vocal by Roy Lanson. Recorded October 1945
