A Network Rail test coach is top-and-tailed through Edinburgh Waverley station by a pair of Class 31 locomotives. The lead locomotive is in a less-than-manly pink livery (that would be 31601 I believe?), the tail loco in Network Rail yellow. These A1A-A1A diesel-electrics are also known as Brush Type 2. They have been nicknamed "Peds" by some, short for "pedestrian", apparently due to their performance (or lack of).

Filmed: Sunday 18th May 2008.
Camera: Panasonic VDR-D310 w/ Hama UV filter.
