This new innovation seems quite remarkable, thank you for sharing this with all farriers and horseowners. I have some questions about these plates, how do they relieve pain associated with coffin bone rotation on a foundered horse? Obviously they stop the pull from the laminae, but what about the pressure on the artery and sole along the bottom of the foot? Also, what is the long-term prognosis for a foundered horse with these plates on? Will they always need them?

You guys seem pretty dedicated to studying the farrier science. I commend you for your work but am a natural hoofcare supporter. Have you ever heard of Pete Ramey or Jamie jackson? If so, what do you think? they have healed many foundered and navicular horses parmenently and naturally. Are you aware of Dr. Bowkers work?
