Hi Sienna. Well My 2nd was born last yr. I did use some of the hypnobirthing techniques this time, but nowhere near as intensly as with my 1st. Result? U wont believe it...... Contractions started fully on the 10th, she was born 45 hrs later!!! So in my experience I think I can say the hyp. worked! The more you do it, believe it, empower ureself, the easier the birth can be...... Good Luck with your future births :)

How did your second birthing go? I am thinking about having my second one...first experience was not so great, could have used alot of the principles of hypnobirthing for sure.

I had a water birth in 2005. For months before I had hypnobirthing sessions. The lady who I did this with was amazing. She taught me ways of blocking pain, how to stay calm, visualisations and mantras.

End result is, i had a 4 hour labour, gave birth naturally in water and only had to push for 10 minutes! Yes, it was my first baby!! I would recommend hypnobirthing to anyone. I dont think i would've had such a great birth without it. I am pregnant again and will be using hynobirthing. It works!
