I am going to order one of these in a couple of weeks! I can't wait! Thank you for being such a down-to-earth, idealistic company.

Nice demo. But can the tiny Koolu Net Pc work as both a Frontend and Backend for MythTV? From the specifications on the web site it looks to me to be underpowered to work as most people will use it for MythTV. Still at $299 I am tempted to try it.

Is it really on OLPC hardware. Looks much more responsive than the other demos. Are you sure you're not (emulating) running on different kind of hardware? If it's really olpc hardware/graphics, its pretty awesome. AFAIK, OLPC runs on 512mb of flash RAM, so if you're indeed running all those softwares on 512mb of storage, that's really something. (Ubuntu mininum install in like 200mb without X)

OLPC software is running in native mode on hardware that is similar. The OLPC Ubuntu desk top with MythTV client is running on an internal lap top hard drive. The OLPC is running in its own partition on the HD. Please see the specs on our web site for the hardware used.
