@Cz858peter Thanks, haven't shot it yet but from what I've heard they're very accurate for such a short barrel. :)

Looks nice, Sir.

@Bijomaru1joker Thanks for stopping by. Of course you know that's one of Pete's mugs, top quality :) With all the poisonous snakes ya'll have down under I'd have to have plenty of rat shot handy :) Kimbers are all very nice weapons. I've heard a lot about breakin periods but so far all mine have performed flawlessly .

@ConcealedTactics Thanks, I recently talked to a gunsmith and he put my mind at ease as far as the striker, I'll be carrying this gun now as soon as my holster arrives :)

Very nice looking pistol there sir! I know what you're talking about with stiff springs & re-assembly. I have a Kahr that's a booger. I'd carry the one that you feel most comfortable with even though you purchased this with that intent. Thanks for sharing!
Peace

@dwilhoite I find all Kimbers to have a stiif mainspring. I don't usually have a problem with 1911's but the small size of this one makes it particularly hard to handle. Thanks for stopping by :)

if you carry cocked and locked as you say, why not carry a revolver, more reliable, safer etc.. not that i need to tell you any of that. just wondering why you dont carry a revolver

@austinyoung300ex I have a shake in my hands and I need an auto, plus it's just what I feel comfortable with.
