I do not need buildings or ornaments to beleif in the existence of the Most Holy One. To me it is the same interpretation, that Abraham gave to the astrologers back then! Abraham told them, that the Most Holt One is not red from the stars! You must just belief in Him, the word in the stars is alway's old news. Anyway the temple? Ezekiel talked about it. Read Ezekiel 34 verse 1 - 17. The Lord wil come Him self and He will bring back all the lost cheep sheep back to his promised meadow.

I think that the "daily" sacrifice might be, with better interpretation, referring to the Sabbath "day", as it is under attack by the Sunday, sun-worshippers / false religions, or false Christianity, as first established by Constantine, replacing the Messianic {Judeo-Christian} movement that had been sweeping over the eastern world, regardless of persecution. Thus, the "Universal" Church became a political entity, a politically controlled state-church, or church-state government.
