FF: Seven Sons was a prototype for a new Final Fight game that was in development before FF: Streetwise. Even with a fun playable beta, Final Fight: Seven Sons was cancelled because of marketing decisions.

  • WE SHOULD EMAIL CAPCOM AND TELL THEM TO RELEASE THIS GAME FOR NEX GEN CONSOLES LIKE ps3 Xbox360 and the psvita, and wii

  • @JojoMonReturns91 I don't know about that. Capcom has been reintroducing 'Final Fight' characters in all of their recent fighting games: Cody, Guy, Haggar, Poison and Hugo. There's even a stage in Street Fighter vs Tekken that features the Mad Gear bosses from Final Fight 1. My guess is, Capcom will get to a proper FF sequel, but they want time to heal things over the whole 'Streetwise' debacle. It's been 7 years, it's about time.

  • Thanks.

  • @shinra358 I know that. However, I know how the other "reviewers" have said Streetwise sucked and the whole thing with Belgar being a Catholic Father was kinda stretching things much. I'm not saying that you were wrong or anything, but I never did say Final Fight was a G-Rated title. It has been and always a R rated series.Sadly, we may not ever get to see another game of Final Fight since Capcom has concentrated WAY too much on Street Fighter and Resident Evil.

  • @JojoMonReturns91 that's the theme that it was supposed to have. combating drug lords and etc in the streets. how else would you define an 'urban crime fighting' setting? you think that it would be any different in japan? last time i checked, no thug or gang setting involves rated-g language xD. the 'urbanizing' wasn't a big deal to me since that is what they did with the older titles. it was just the fact that they added 'zombies'. streetwise was still very fun to play though.

  • @shinra358 Difference was was that this would have worked for a game and wasn't "Americanized" for no reason. Streetwise was just plain trying to become "Ghetto" without giving proper backstory or interest.

  • @JojoMonReturns91 it looks almost the exact same as streetwise but with better graphics and it looks like both had 'zombies' in them :P

  • WTF is with Capcom, they cancel every game that is good

  • @ilikethecoke Plays and looks much better than Streetwise. I guess Capcom wasn't intelligent enough to realize that this was a better game. So they made a crappy one.
