Paul McCartney performs Calico Skies at Citi Field in New York, NY on July/17/2009. Note that Paul messes up the lyrics in the beginning and I couldnt help myself but laugh.

  • @Helmut83 We were talking about this on the pm.com forum and figured he's now written over 800 songs (including almost 200 with John that were recorded) This includes all his classical stuff (Liverpool Oratorio, etc.)

  • @Helmut83 you're right - with the Betles, Wings, solo stuff, and stuff he wrote as a teen but never recorded, I'm sure Paul's written hundreds if not close to a thousand come to think of it- I was thinking about just the ones he's played live for some reason.

  • @4FabBEATLES 50? just have in mind the Beatles recorded more than 200 songs. I think Paul must be well over 300 songs.

  • I agree with sweetsolitaryman666, what does it matter that he forgot the lyrics when the music he wrote is just great? What I care about is the music, I preferr McCartney forgeting the words rather than a bunch of teenage bad musicians remembering all the lyrics of their shit music.

  • he's just a normal human thats very forgetful. give him a break. it's tough to remember songs like these. especially when you're not plugged into those earphones that they give you now-a-days. he's the best in the world for actually remembering these words. :) show some respect man,

  • he;s human after all and wrote at least 50 songs-it'd be hard to remeber all of them. give it a break.

  • I bought this DVD! It's just GREAT!

  • I like the fact that he messed up, just shows that even a great like himself can mess up.
