Original music soundtrack composed and performed on the Korg Kronos 88 workstation. Stick around for the ending. Created by playing and layering my keyboard audio tracks (all Korg Kronos sounds, no MIDI) while watching the movie. This is a slight remix of the score I uploaded on my ShortFilmCenter Channel. Film subject is Hurricane Irene Damage to Spring Lake NJ boardwalk on August 28th. The WPA Works Progress Administration was created in 1935 by Franklin Delano Roosevelt to create employment for the masses who suffered unemployment from The Great Depression. The Spring Lake Boardwalk was built in 1937 with WPA funds and the concrete supports still show the stamp of this construction date embossed in the concrete, as seen in this video.

  • This is really original and good, I like it, great creation

  • @musicroman Thank you very much. I appreciate it.

  • Terrific! Wonderful composition, and beautiful application of some of Kronos' spectacular libraries. Everything balanced, and the feeling/mood is so precisely and fully expressed. Very cool. Perfect match for the haunting, and lovely, footage, too.

  • @derek4ur Thank you so much for your nice comment. I'm glad this worked out well.

  • Very good and interesting composition pretty quiet sound in the background sounds, good effects bravo I like ***** Wishing you a nice weekend Yours))

  • @Halunlimited Hey, this tune is both delicate and affecting at the same time--it has strength and real depth of feeling--it is both ambient and melodic--it is a pretty sophisticated piece, and just keeps gently opening up from beginning to coda. I really like it. I don't know how you approached this piece's composition, but you did a masterful job! I am pleased to say so, and also to read your kind words about my tunes--I have enjoyed getting to know you, a bit, this morning!

    Take care--:)
