This is a rare look at the original Chicago based Freestyle group Legacy at the Riviera Nightclub in 1990 as they opened for George Lamond. The version that Jessee Settle and Joel Rodriguez performed was released on the local label International Latin House Records in 1989, and was picked up, reproduced and released by DJ International Records in 1992 under the same group name, but with Jessee recruiting Javi and Juanie to reform the group. Joel Rodriguez is now a public official in Gary, Indiana and Jessee Settle has been incarcerated in Illinois for the past 16 years...wow, what opposite sides of things the original members of Legacy have landed on. Enjoy this flashback. I will soon post more Freestyle Footage from my video vault featuring the last version of the Legacy - a group that will likely never have the opportunity to perform together again...a shame, but a lesson in choices made having consequences. Don't get me wrong, I am still in contact with Jessee, but just can't respect all of the choices he ultimately made, although he does say that the entire story of what happened has yet to be told...
@rhdtv2002 yes they did. Jesse Settle and Javier Romero did.

That George Lamond performance might be the best performance by anyone ever. Wow!!! Dude snapped both on the mic and wit' the dance moves. And then the chic runs up on stage at the best part!!!! They don't have freestyle shows like that anymore.
