The best male vocal performance of all time. Hands down. The beautiful warbling, the melodious notes, the perfect harmony with the instrumentals make this the best performanceof all time. No crackling in the voice at all. Angels could not sing better.

Nobody does it like Michael Crawford. He took the Phantom role to a new level. For the movie the Phantom should have either been Howard McGillin or Tim Curry. That's my P.O.V.
No one. and I mean NO ONE, beats Crawford as the phantom. All the others, were only replacements.
