Flip It TV is a new Internet TV show dedicated to showing Limerick's music and alternative scene to a wider audience. Flip it TV is the brainchild of musician and art enthusiast Ali Daly and media student and photographer Olivia Chau who are both itching to showcase all types of talent in Limerick. Both have been music obsessed since childhood and felt it was time for Limerick to be given an alternative and underground musical voice. "We started the show together back in January, as we wanted to show how Limerick has come a long way. It's not just about Dublin anymore; it's about all of Ireland. We are really lucky in Limerick as there is so much talent going on right now and it's all easily accessible".

One of the objectives of Flip It TV is to give a voice to those who are not heard or seen usually on local TV or in local newspapers, or even nationwide. "We aim to showcase talent that happens in Limerick every day and the many amazing acts that are from here as well as those that visit us. With a wide variety of music, art, graffiti, tattooing, and skateboarding, to name but a few, we will bring to the forefront for your viewing pleasure, an eclectic array of artistry."

With Flip It TV only in its infancy, the girls have already met an impressive collection of acts. Interviewing bands and acts such as Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip, The Redneck Manifesto, Walter Mitty and the Realists, Last Days of Death Country (winners of Battle for Bob), and The Rubberbandits, they opt for a laid-back style to interviewing with an energetic twist. "The Rubberbandits interview stands out for both of us the most, as they were really fun and up for doing something different and we are all bouncing off each others energy". They are grateful for the support they have gotten from venues such as Baker Place and Dolan's who have allowed them access to bands, support they feel, has made their job easier.
