A photo montage from "The French Butler ~ An Evening's Diversion" as performed at Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH in 1998. Written and directed by Emily C. A. Snyder.
"The French Butler" is a one-act play in three scenes written in the style of Oscar Wilde as part of an independent study. Along with being Emily Snyder's first produced play, it is also the first play she ever directed. Like many things, it came about through the casual suggestion of a cast member and proceeded mostly because no one told them they couldn't.
Music from "Gosford Park" - Jeremy Northram sings Ivor Novello's "Why Isn't It You?"
