  • That's a great video! It really, really helped! I have a hunter show coming up and I really needed it! Thanks!

  • great video! i was wondering where you get the hook loopy tool thing? thankS1

  • @gladtidings4all Brainding keeps up and out of the way when eventing, it also allows the neck to be seen. For show horses, braiding keeps the mane from breaking and allows it to grow longer and more beautiful. It also comes down easy and with little combing.

  • Why in the world would you torture your poor horse by braiding the beautiful mane to such an ugly thing like that for? How would you remove that mess? If I was lucky to have a horse I would comb his main simply! So sad!

  • Why woul

  • Beautifully done. Im going to start to attempt to do this braid for shows. Always done a running braid since i REFUSE to cut my arabs mane but we were only in jumpers. now i have my up and coming 2yr old paint going to be 3 next year we will be doing hunters so this video is EXTREAMLY helpful i had no idea how to do this for the longest time. However my only problem is. What do you do if the mane is thick and the horse doesn't even like to get it combed let alone pulled?

  • Omg.. soooooooooooooooooo helpful!! Thankss! By first time braiding and my coach said they were waaay better then she expected! :) only problem for me is that I'm reeeeeally slow.. It took me 5 HOURS to braid my horse LOL

  • if you braid the entire mane first and then tucked the over all look is better as you can make them even easier

  • @CowGirlThatsMe988 If you look at some of the nicer horses their manes are usually short enough to wear they're almost a mohawk. But unless you get invited to Maclay Finals or something like that 3 to 4 inches... or the width of your hand, is a pretty good length. (But shorter manes ARE easier to braid).

  • @Diggubuh yeahh
