To those who think these check points are necessary in the protection and security of Israel, I challenge you to comprehend what it would be like if a population of people occupied your country on the basis of finding a home land after an atrocity committed against it's people, installed check points and stopped you from gaining access to places you were once able to travel through, places you once OWNED. Occupying land is one thing but these checkpoints are outrageous.

when young kids see their mums and fathers being humilated and without work, because of the checkpoints , and see their villiages torn down no wonder they learn hatred and aspirations of revenge. What a true passage all they have left is their lives to give to the struggle everything else has been taken from them . What happend to winning hearts and minds . a bloody disgrace

The UN may disagree with some of israel's actions yet it still see israel as a legal state that should exist.

Hamas used the red cross organization ambulances and attacked from them (thats by the way a very high violation of any international rule) and the israelis do whatever they want?

What gets me is that within the life time of several Israelis they final solution was carried out in Europe. And now they have the cruelty to do Ethnic purging in the West Bank. If it wasn't for these checkpoints, Israel would be a war zone. Suicide bombings in cafes, buses, malls. We've seen it happen before. Just imagine opening up the border between Mexico and the U.S. Hundreds of thousands of illegal Mexicans would come into the U.S and sell drugs, etc. In biblical terms, Jews were in Israel before Islam was ever established. When Israel was created in 1947, it was recognized by 33 countries and the UN. Israel is a legitimate state and is here to stay.
