Filtering Waste Veggie Oil in NOLA

Time lapse photos of 2 afternoons worth of heating, filtering and pumping about a 100 gallons of waste veggie oil. I'm fueling up to head into the Alabama Tornado Zone in a couple days and then on to the March on Blair Mountain.

@Elienation It doesn't do low light very well at all. the case gets smuggy easy. It has a problem with contrast. The audio is much better than you would think, especially with the the skeleton case (has more holes). I think their awesome even with the faults, cause they're tiny and the picture quality is fabulous in the right light. It's weird getting use to not seeing the frame. You can zone in in the edit a lot if the light was good but in bad light it just gets real fuzzy. ...

Ok, so more info please. What type engine runs on this, what process to make the fuel? Links and info please. This is actually very fantastic. If we all did this then the restaurants would have no more waste oil, we would have to grow hemp to make the fuel, undo the coruporate evil tyrants, and restore the world to real humanity.

@Snowblindinfinity Any diesel can run waste veggie once you add a separate fuel line heat, filters & switches. There are a ton of video showing the process just look for it the info is available. If everybody ran WVO there would not be enough of it. We would end up growing fuel instead of food... I don't think WVO is a long term wide spread solution. but it will work for those willing to do the work... which is substantial at times. Finding waste oil is not always as easy as it use to be.

@FluxRostrum There is plenty of land to grow Non-Food grade plants, I was checking on the web and found one person who makes hempoline, same basically, just fuel made from hemp, which grows like a weed just about anywhere. It was definitely high octane stuff, very powerful and interesting. But no doubt that is why it is illegal, Cotton, Oil, and other cartels would fall. Can't have a world of independent free thinking people now can we? Corporate slaves are profitable, free men are not.

I request the oils I get to come straight from the fryer, Hot. In this way, there is no water in the oils. I have heated large samples and found no water [no condensation] forms when covered. I realize this isn't possible always, but I thought I'd toss it out there. All I do is filter, I have a pump and 20 and 5 micron filter inline in my trunk. Been using the greasecar com system for 5 years with no problems what so ever. Even have run it in subzero temps... Keep making videos!

You know they just came out with an LCD screen that you can attach to the back of them to see your shooting etc..

They're 79 bucks on amazon or from the gopro site..
