Performed at the Baughman Center on the UF campus, this was the lead performance. UF Center for World Arts, Center for Latin American Studies, and College of Fine Arts School of Music presents an acoustic concert by Jacaré Brazil which celebrates the rhythms and sounds of indigenous and popular Brazilian instrumental and vocal music. Jacaré Brazil will perform their spring acoustic concert 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 and 26 at the Baughman Center. Led by Dr. Welson Tremura, the acoustic concert features four distinct ensembles: the Brazilian guitar quartet, the choro ensemble (guitar, cavaquinho, flute, accordion, bassoon, and percussion), the vocal ensemble and special guests Cellorando. Cellorando is a UF cello ensemble led by Professor Steven Thomas.
