Do not take me too seriously about my pop culture/news commentary. I only wanted to talk about art and how it can still be relevant when put in the context of current events. I thought It would be fun and easier to relate to when compared to something familiar like Britney Spears. So I was hoping to create some buzz about the old masterpieces and old masters, etc. Not the other way around. I hardly have any knowledge of celebrities, etc. I was not trying to judge moms or dads or wasn't trying to take sides... I guess I was just too passionate about linking this big Britney story to paintings from the past.

brit's mom did not push her, britney loved dancing since she was 3! and her mom and dad was there to support her all the way! her mom fricken quit her job to let brit go and audition for the mickey mous club! trust me, britney loves singing and dancing, watch some of her docs and then u will understand!

Your correct analysis of stage mother parents, is redolent of sports scholarship fathers, or worse, military veteran fathers, who push their kids into sports or military recruitment offices.
