tversity is a failure, if your getting new videos/music alot i DO NOT recommend this. you have to scan the whole entire directory over and over again. plus its very very unstable. if you want something that works really nice you should look into ps3 media server, runs using java, so it works with most operating systems. though one thing to keep in mind: java is very demanding but honestly with this quality program i don't really care about how much memory/threads it uses its much better!
@ARMYSTRENGTHxbl Well, It usually just automatically while your computer's on, You just go to your videos section on the 360, and your computer should appear
@FlamingPotatoe my xbox 360 doesn't recognise my external hard drive, so I can't get to my media. It uses both USB ports - one for power, one for data - could this be why it's not reading??

Get Windows 7, it has a feature where you can stream videos right from your pc, it's very cool
