No it's 99% of statistics are made up on the spot 100% of the time. :D This rocks doesn't it.

The way regulations tell you to do your job at any job (I was in the CG, now work at spa & was in restaurants as a kid) and how shit is actually done are 2 entirely different things. There's a JO at every job. Get over yourself.

Yeah, but probably only 1% of the coast guard actually saves people. But when you get a dumbass enlisted or junior officer ship inspector who thinks he knows it all (when he doesn't have a clue) and blatently disrespects the master of a ship aboard his own vessel, the entire coast gurad looks bad.

My husband is in the Coast Guard and currently stationed on the USCGC Dallas over in Georgia. God Bless all of our men and women over seas.

As a merchant mariner, I really get annoyed by the coast guard.....but I'm not gonna lie, this video is awesome!

My daughter says "dat's my daddy big boat?" She knows that this stuff means her daddy is gonna be bye bye for a while, and I hope one dya she understands just what that means. This is an awesome video!
