Wash EA air filters with high quality Antibacterial dish detergent and warm water, do not let dirty water to enter the filter inlet or contaminate the clean side, let it dry naturally and completely before reinstalling, do not use hair dryers or heaters to dry the filter, as heat may damage it.

Thanks for the reply. As of right now, Is the EA Nanofiber the latest of air filteration technology? I remember Amsoil had the foam filter and replaced it w/ this nanofiber, Do they have any other types that have come out in the market, or will be soon?

Amsoil currently sells, drop in type EA air filters that fit factory air cleaner boxs, EA crank case breather filters, also universal air induction filters, for custom air intakes and will fit most aftermarket type cold air intake and short ram intakes systems. Also Amsoil has joined with Injen to produce short ram and cold air intake systems that offer CARB EO exemption (emissions legal) with safe air to fuel rations through out the power band.

The EA has Better air flow then paper, but does it have better air flow then the K&N? Im sure the EA protects better but Air flow is what I want to Know.

Amsoil EA air filters at 0.8 microns hold 5 times more dust then conventional cellulose air filters and 50 times more dust than wet gauze air filters. EA air filters have lower pressure drop as compared to traditional air filter media. Off the record, my personal tests have indicated that EA air filters out flow wet gauze type air filters of the same size dimensions, provided you keep the air filter clean and dry.

I'd like to try amsoil nano fiber filter. I've heard that nano fiber is an amazing material. K&N type filters are not good filters...they let particals through and the oil can damage sensors on some engines. There's a reason K&N sells external socks for dusty conditions.

AMSoil products are all I use on my car. If they do not have one then I use a WIX. Nothing else can compare to what they have.

Then why doesn't the US military use K&N air filters on there Abrams M-1 tanks? Only synthetic air filters are used, same technology as Amsoil EA synthetic air filters.
