The theft of houses isn't something usually covered by Cop Block but I wanted to give it some attention because the issue today is so rampant and because Bill Bry (the victim of the theft) is a friend.

Last month a few of us from Keene traveled 45min south to Montague, MA (right next-door to Greenfield) to join others in helping Bill move out the rest of his furniture, welding supplies, and appliances. He had been given an eviction notice, to be "served" by employees of the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, based on what Bill considers a fraudulent mortgage issue related to the robo signature controversy.

For over four years Bill, assisted by friend Jeanne Golrick, had successfully won in court (aka mounted an effective defense) to keep his house. He views this latest theft as temporary. His words, written in chalk on a scrap piece of metal on the side of his welding building sums it up: "We are out! At this time."

  • A person who takes a mortgage signs a contract and agrees to submit him or herself to a court of competent jurisdiction in the event of a legal contest.

Are you saying that the home owner didn't have a right to enter into a legally binding contracting whereby he agreed to have a court determine the issue in the event he was unable to meet the conditions of said contract? To say this is unjustified is to say contracts aren't enforceable, or that one may not voluntarily enter into one.

  • pay your fucking bills and this wont happen, do you hippies expect do live in a home for free? who else is going to kick you out when you havent paid your bills?

  • @TheCloaker1 Well, if they hated it so much why are they doing the bidding of a private banking institution, on taxpayer's dime? Sheriffs shouldn't be involved in this process whatsoever IMO. Fuck the banks and fuck the publicly funded forces that back them. Slavery is all it is, period!

  • You guys are sick. I know these police officers hate doing this, for a fact. They are sick to themselves for doing this part of their jobs.

  • I am all for right and personal responsibility but in this case YOU MADE A CONTRACT FOR THE REPAYMENT FOR THIS LOAN. YOU did not live up to your responsibility to pay the money you owed. I have just lost respect for this channel. Be free live your life and be free. You signed the contract and made a deal to pay back the money. In this case YOU ARE WRONG. YOU MADE A DEAL! Be responsible for your self.

  • Mass is not the most corrupt, many places out there many more times corrupt!!

  • @GixxR606 actually lots of people paid their bills and still got kicked out. BANKS LIED. They went to court with documents saying no bills were paid WITH more documents showing bills were paid. They lied. They went to court with loan documents that never existed before that very day. That's right, they forged signatures for properties which have NO LOAN TO ANYONE. That's a fact. Bank of America did that more than 10 THOUSAND times.

  • a bank's claim on a house should not legally extend to any small items around or in the house. Those are easily the owned property of the PERSON not the bank, except for things like furniture which may be on payment/loan with ANOTHER company (such as The Brick). In which case the bank and the police are stealing. STEALING. Illegally.

  • these cops are working for the banksters, and the owner of the house gave his power away to the banksters by contracting with them.

Who realy is at fault here ?

    Stop dealing with banksters.

  • Here is what I don't get. Why harass the cops when they are doing their job properly? I understand when cops think they are above the law or disrespectful but this doesn't fall under that. Dispatch and higher ups tell them where to go. This is part of their job description. They can't pick and choose which calls to take. Luckily they weren't dicks and fucked you guys up. Now that would be a valid reason to complain.

  • These videos are hilarious. I hope to see more!
