http://www.nramuseum.org A brace of Walker Colts might be more pistol than most men can handle, but in the hands of Don Ormand, aka "Tex" (sass #4), they become but mere instruments of his will, effortlessly discharged with unerring accuracy. As one of the founders of Cowboy Action Shooting and the Single Action Shooting Society, Tex is the collective consciousness of the hobby as the publisher and editor of the monthly Cowboy Chronicle.

These two Walker Colts are Italian reproductions used by Tex to win End of Trail and numerous other sass matches. They represent only a small part of the historic tribute to cowboys on display in the National Firearms Museums William B. Ruger Gallery in an exhibit entitled "Guns West!" which has been extended
to the remainder of 2009.
